About me

Psychotherapy has been an important part of my life for more than 20 years. I was introduced to it as a participant in group psychotherapy (2001), and have continued with years of training and parallel work on myself. In 2008 I welcomed my first client. Since then psychotherapy is my mission, and continuing professional development and work on myself is an important part of it.

I am a university graduate sociologist (2002) and a certified psychodynamic psychotherapist (2008) with a certificate from the European Association of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapies (2012) and a European Diploma in Psychotherapy (2014) awarded by the European Association of Psychotherapy (EAP). I also work as a learning therapist and provide supervision for specialist and certified depth psychotherapists.

From 2012 to 2017 I was Vice President and President of the Association for Psychodynamic Psychotherapy. After its annexation European Association of Psychoanalytic Approaches Slovenia (EZPPS) in 2017, I chaired the Honorary Tribunal of the EZPPS between 2019 and 2021. The EZPPS is a member of the Slovenian Umbrella Association for Psychotherapy (SKZP), where I was a member of the Honorary Tribunal in 2019 – 2023, and in 2023 I became Chair of the Honorary Tribunal of the SKZP and a member of the SKZP Media Group.

I work in accordance with the Code of Ethics of the European Association of Psychoanalytic Approaches Slovenia (EZPPS), which is aligned with the ethical norms and standards of the Slovenian umbrella association for psychotherapy and the Slovenian Psychotherapy Association. European Association for Psychotherapy (EAP).
